The presentation below is part of the topic of describing the home. It occurred to me that a description of the various palaces of the Spanish royal family would provide some cultural background. It starts with some pictures of the royal family in order to introduce the words “familia real” plus “el rey”.

I really like your ideas. I myself keep collecting newspaper articles -and making activities, especially for AS/A2 but it’s hard to find the time to incorporate them into the lessons when you just have the students for 2/2.5 hours a week! (I teach in Adult Education)
