The resources attached to this post are to be used when presenting the language needed to describe a town. I have taken the context of the Olympics and describing Barcelona before and after the Games in order to use both past and present, but also to draw attention to the positive impact on that city. The lesson then develops to ask the students to consider how they might be describing the impact of the games on east London in 2013. I kinda helps that I teach in east London!
