Weather generally comes up as an area of language to be taught within the topic of holidays. I am trying to teach it in response to the question “¿Dónde recomiendas para las vacaciones?”. I have taken the opportunity to then focus on issues relating to extreme heat and the precautions that must be taken. I have used the resources produced by the Ministerio de Sanidad, Servicios Sociales e Igualdad as part of their 2010 campaign -“Combatir el calor está en tus manos“. I also wanted to take the opportunity to practise the language of weather beyond Spain and chose Argentina for the listening (video), reading and resulting writing activities. The listening worksheet is yet to be produced – Irene at school is working on this with me. Give us a few days! I hope it is all of some use + as usual the videos are embedded and also posted below.

I presume you are talking about the listening activity in the PowerPoint. There’s no sheet as I just get the students to copy down the grid from the slide.
