This is just a quick post with a worksheet about what people did before becoming famous. The real aim is to teach the imperfect tense in the context of work. All the information is true or at least according to what the internet tells me. I have tried to include some Spanish-speaking people and some who may be unfamiliar to students. I will go on from this to get students to imagine that we are living 20 years in the future, that they are all famous and they have to write about what they used to do when they were younger. I’ll try to encourage them to manipulate their CVs to incorporate things they have yet to achieve!
