The following resources are linked to a lesson I taught to the A2 group on the reasons for learning a language. This was linked to a past paper discursive essay on the topic. I started by looking at the debate in the USA on the importance of the Spanish language and the debate on bilingualism. This then moves into a more light-hearted look at favourite words and I end up by asking the students for their own favourite word in Spanish.
